PFD's two strongest international partnerships are with the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). These two institutions, alone, have provided more than $40 million in funding to PFD since 1993.

PFD also works in conjunction with the CORE Group, an organic network of health professionals from non-governmental development organizations. Today, the network includes more than 50 member organizations and many individual partners to generate collaborative action and learning to improve and expand community-focused public health practices for underserved populations around the world. Through CORE, PFD shares knowledge and ideas about how to best help children survive.
Other generous donors who have provided support to PFD's community-based programs include:
the Centers for Disease Control
the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria

the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief
