Approach
Partners for Development works in a manner such that local partners help design, implement, and assess programs to the greatest degree possible. This approach of collaborating with local counterparts leads to skill-development in key areas.

What's New
New Program Starting
PFD is pleased to announce the opening of a new agricultural development program in Tanzania. Through a Food for Progress grant from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), PFD will be working with local partners and rural smallholder farmers to increase incomes and improve food security and nutrition.

Local NGO in Cambodia
To further support local capacity building, PFD assisted in creating Partners for Development Cambodia (PFDC), a Cambodian non-governmental organization, affiliated with, but independent from, PFD. PFDC began operations in September 2008 and is focusing on malaria control and prevention with children and teachers at primary schools in Kratie, Stueng Treng, and Koh Kong provinces.
